Some Personal & Professional Information I have been a full-time California real estate agent since 1993, but since I was raised in the business, I feel I have been one all my life! I am the 4th generation in my family to work as a Southern California Realtor®. My Great-Grandmother, her son (my Grandfather) and my Mother have all been agents or brokers since 1920! My oldest daughter, Cathy, recently graduated from San Diego State and is now studying to take her real estate license exam. (I’m hoping that she will eventually join me in the business!) My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 24 years and our other daughter, Stephanie is in college at Cal State Long Beach. My formal education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from California State University at Fullerton, and a Master of Business Degree from the University of Southern California. Real Estate specific education includes courses in Law, Finance, Appraisal, Accounting, Escrows, and Property Management. I am very technology-oriented and was recently featured in an article in the C.A.R. (California Association of Realtors®) Technology magazine, titled "Tech Tips from Top Producers." As the "Queen of Digital Photos" I explained the benefits of using my digital camera to share my listings with buyers or other agents, or to send photos of anyone's listing to my buyers. Last year, I became one of first agents in the country to earn the National Association of Realtors®’ “e-PRO” certification which emphasizes the importance of using the Internet and email to market and sell homes. While my two daughters were in grade school, I was very active in my community as a room mother, Girl Scout leader, swim team organizer, and “carpool queen”. I enjoyed it very much and miss all the activity now that they are grown up! I am still involved in my community as an active supporter of the Lake Forest Dolphins Swim Team and I am Tract Chairman for the Parkwood Estates II neighborhood, where I live. I really love the real estate business and work hard to make the buying or selling process as easy and enjoyable as possible for each client.
