This is a quick tutorial I did for some newer agents that didn’t know how to set up a “Hot Sheet” on the SoCalMLS.
This basic report has been available through SoCalMLS almost as long as the MLS has been on-line. The purpose of it is to list the changes that have happened in your focus area since the last time you looked. It is useful for getting a general feel for the market activity in a fairly wide area. Similar to setting up prospect matches, it can keep you informed about the activity in any neighborhoods that you monitor.
From the Tempo start page, click on the HOT Sheet link
1 – Select the cities that you want to monitor. (Hold down the "Control" key to select multiple cities.)
2 – Select the property types to include.
3 – Select the statuses that you want to see.
4 – Click on "Current" to run the repot.
The Hot Sheet Listing Report
1 – To see details, or to email that listing, check the box.
2 – The time (to the second) that the change was made is in this column.
Review the Selected Listings
1 – Check the MLS # Box to see details.
2 – Click on the Property Report format that you want to view.
Sample Report (Brief)
View the details on the selected properties.
Save the Report & Set the Date for the Next Report
Next time you run the report, it will show you all the changes since the "Current Date/Time"
You can run this report as often as you want – throughout the day!
